About the program
If you have type 1 or type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetic symptoms, this program can help manage your diabetes through physical activity. The program is open to anyone in the community, so you do not need to be a member to participate.
Diabetes Fitness is an eight-week medically based program offering:
Assessments at the beginning and end of program
An individualized exercise plan
Two 60-minute group workout sessions per week
A summary report provided to you and your healthcare provider
Unlimited, full access to the center
The option to join the center with waived enrollment at the end of the program
Completion of a diabetes nutritional education program led by a registered dietitian
