Jeff holds a Master of Science (MS) degree from West Virginia University (WVU) in Exercise Physiology specializing in aquatic therapy and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Sports Medicine/Athletic training from Alderson Broaddus College. Jeff received football, baseball and academic scholarships while getting his BS and held internships while getting his MS at WVU as a Strength Coach for baseball, basketball, football, and wrestling and did a Graduate Assistance (GA) under Dr. Robert Chetlin, PhD, CSCS, HFI working in Neuromuscular research. Jeff also held internships in Cardiac Rehab, Aquatic Therapy and a paid internship as a Strength Coach with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2003 while receiving his MS. Jeff is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) in Exercise is Medicine Level 1, the National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF) as a Certified Pool Operator, American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard, and has been published in the peer reviewed National Strength and Conditioning Professional Journal.
Prior to accepting his current position of Director of Valley Health Wellness & Fitness Center in October 2012, Jeff held the position of Director of Hampshire Wellness & Fitness Center (HWC) where he opened and led the startup of HWC in August 2007. In 2008, Jeff was given the additional role of Director of Hampshire Memorial Hospital Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, where he was able to successfully design and start up new state of the art outpatient and inpatient clinics. In 2008 HWC received the Most Distinguished Medical Fitness Facility Award from the Medical Fitness Association (MFA) & in 2009 received the Most Distinguished Medical Fitness Director Award from the MFA. In 2010, Jeff was promoted with Valley Health and given the corporate title of VH Director of Fitness Services, which encompassed the roles of Director of HWC, HMH Rehabilitation Services and the additional corporate oversight of 5 medical fitness programs at Valley Health’s 5 other hospitals in West Virginia and Virginia.
In 2010, he was selected as one of eight Directors to participate in Valley Health’s inaugural Senior Management Mentorship Program, and fulfilled an 18-month mentorship under Al Pilong, Winchester Medical Center President and Sr. VP of Valley Health.
In 2012, both Hampshire Wellness & Fitness and Valley Health Wellness & Fitness Centers received the designation of becoming Certified Medical Fitness Facilities through the MFA and in 2014 and 2015 Valley Health Wellness & Fitness Center received the Honorable Mention Award from the MFA as the Certified Medical Fitness Center of the Year. In November 2015, Jeff received his Fellowship from the MFA for his contributions to the association over the past eight years.
In June of 2013, Jeff was given the additional role of Director of Wellness Services for Valley Health. In this role, Jeff has helped designed and implemented a new corporate employee wellness program called Healthy U and serves over 5,800+ hospital employees at 6 hospitals in West Virginia and Virginia. In the fall of 2013 and spring 2014, Valley Health Wellness Services received Gold Star and Gold Apple awards from Prevention Partners, Inc. and Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association (VHHA) for employee smoking cessation and nutrition programs, and in December 2015 was awarded the Excellence Award for the wellness programs for all 6 hospitals, Prevention Partners, Inc. top award becoming the first businesses in Virginia and West Virginia to receive this recognition. Valley Health is a 2 time Gold Well Workplace awarded organization with Wellness Counsels of America (WELCOA). In 2017 Valley Health was awarded the Platinum Well Workplace award through WELCOA.
Prior to working with Valley Health, Jeff held the positions of Wellness Director for companies, National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH/CDC) and with General Electric (GE) Specialty Chemicals directing their employee’s corporate wellness programs both receiving WELCOA Well Workplace Awards.
Becky holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation with minor in Therapeutic Recreation and Gerontology from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. After graduation, she moved to Germany and worked for the US Army Department of Defense Recreation Centers as a Program Director and later, a Recreation Center Director. In 1989, she became the Fitness Director for Blozis Fitness Center in the Frankfurt Military Community.
When the military bases began closing in Europe, Becky returned to Orlando, Florida to work for Fitness Partner’s on the Move, a company providing corporate and in-home fitness services. She began working for the Downtown Orlando YMCA leading group fitness classes, and later became the Group Fitness Director. In 2006, Becky moved to Knoxville, Tennessee and continued working for the YMCA. She was also the Instructor Coordinator for SilverSneakers for the Knoxville/Chattanooga region.
Besides her management experience, Becky has been teaching group fitness for over 30 years and personal training for over 25 years. She teaches a variety of land classes to include low impact, strength training, chair yoga, chair fitness, boot camp, kickboxing, IndoRow, circuit training, and LeBarre and specializes in Active Older Adults and Senior Fitness. She is certified for personal training through ACE and is an AFAA certified Group Fitness Instructor. She is a Master Trainer for LTS, Lebert Training Systems, and an AFAA examiner.
Her personal fitness passion is running and she has competed in 8 marathons to include the 2014 and 2016 Boston Marathon as well as over 20 half-marathons in the last 8 years. In her free time, Becky enjoys playing with her schnauzer Lucky, traveling and spending time with her grand kids.

Kelly has a MS in Kinesiology specializing in Sports and Recreation Management from JMU and a BS in Allied Health Science from Bridgewater College. She is certified as an ACE Clinical Exercise Specialist, AEA Exercise Instructor, ACE Group Exercise Instructor, ARC Water Safety Instructor and First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor, and has completed the California State University Balance and Mobility Instructor program. Kelly is also a Certified Les Mills BODYPUMP™ Instructor and TRX Trainer.
Kelly has a wide variety of experience in the fitness and wellness industry that includes group exercise instruction, community health and wellness programming, exercise testing and prescription, and facility operations. She previously worked at the VMRC Wellness Center in Harrisonburg, VA where she served as Assistant Manager.
In her free time, Kelly competes in mud runs, camps in West Virginia, and rides her horse, Etch A Sketch.
Lacey graduated with a B.S. in Physical Education with a concentration in Sports Management from Old Dominion University in May 2014. She has experience working on project coordination, as a creative dance instructor for children, and as a front desk associate in a gym. She has also served as a Sales Associate for Norfolk Tides baseball and Norfolk Admirals hockey teams. Lacey worked as a Sales Associate at VHWFC since September 2014. As part of this team, she was instrumental in helping the Center to achieve its membership and retention goals. In 2015 Lacey was promoted as the Administrative and Accounting Coordinator. In this role Lacey was a key contributor to the daily functions of the center. Lacey is also a certified Associate Professional in Human Resources.
In her off time, Lacey coaches AAU basketball and enjoys watching movies, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She loves helping people live a healthy lifestyle.

Wendy was born and raised in Cape May, NJ. She graduated from Shenandoah University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Coaching. Wendy coached the Field Hockey and Lacrosse teams at SU from 2008-2010. VHWFC hired Wendy as a Kidz Zone associate in 2008, but was quickly promoted to Kidz Zone Coordinator. She now serves as the Member Services Supervisor overseeing a dedicated team of staff. Wendy continues to love her work!!! She enjoys interacting with people and making them feel welcome at VHWFC.
In her free time, Wendy enjoys working out to maintain her fitness and spending time with her family and their dog, Cali. She is also a huge sports fan – Go Philly!!
