What safety and sanitation precautions are you taking?

• Additional hand sanitizing stations placed throughout the center
• Wipes conveniently located throughout the center to clean equipment after use
• Around the clock disinfection of equipment and high touch areas
• Signage throughout the center to serve as reminders to wash hands and wipe down equipment

Will members be required to wear masks?

In accordance with Virginia Executive Order 79, Valley Health Wellness & Fitness Center will be moving forward with the following, effective May 31st, 2021:

• No longer taking temperature checks
• Fully vaccinated members and guests are no longer required to wear a mask in the facility
• Unvaccinated members and guests need to continue wearing a mask when they are not actively exercising
• Mask only exercise area will no longer be available
• If members are not vaccinated, they will need to continue to wear a mask when not exercising. (Honor system).
• Employees (not actively exercising) will continue to wear masks

Will the pools be available for use?

• Yes, both pools are open.

Will the Sauna and Steam Room be available?

• The sauna and steam room in the Men’s and Women’s locker rooms are available beginning May 31st, 2021.

Will there be Group Exercise classes, Personal Training, Small Group Training, Swim Lessons or Massage when you re-open?

• We will have group exercise classes, personal training, massage, and swimming lessons.

What will be hours of operation be for the center?

• Monday to Friday 5 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Will the showers be open?

• Yes, showers will be open. Showers are recommended prior to swimming.

Will Kids Zone be open?

• Kids Zone will open in July 2021.
