Add variety to your workout routine by joining a group exercise class. Whether you’re working out for the first time or a seasoned gym enthusiast, group exercise makes working out fun and can be more effective and motivating than working out alone. Here are three benefits of adding group exercise classes to your workout routine.
There are many classes to choose from depending on your interest and workout goals. Group exercise presents you with a variety of formats to keep you engaged and encouraged to reach your goals. Adding classes to your schedule is easy as our Centers offer a variety of programs and session times. Committing to a group exercise schedule tailored to your goals will produce great results.
Fun with Friends
Fitness is more fun with friends. With a variety of music, instructor styles and interaction with fellow group participants, your workout can become an event to look forward to each week. Group exercise provides camaraderie and accountability among participants, as well as between participants and instructor (Dolan, 2016). If you are new to working out and unsure of how to begin, the support of a group exercise class is the perfect atmosphere to learn workout techniques and feel confident as a beginner. Most importantly working as a team will help you to STAY motivated. You’re more likely to complete your fitness routine and push yourself to the next level with a group than on your own over an extended period of time.
Support from our Certified Fitness Specialists
A certified fitness specialist will lead you and your group through a safe and effective workout. These instructors are there to motivate their classes, answer questions and teach the latest techniques for their students’ skill level and maximum fitness results. Whether you’re interested in Pilates, yoga, spinning, circuit training, dancing, kickboxing, etc. the instructors are there to show you how to work your body and muscles properly, which creates a safe and productive environment.
Group exercise classes are included in your membership, which means you receive specialty training without the extra cost. Visit the front desk or the Center website for a schedule of classes we offer.
